You will have to cut holes in the fairings, but make sure you get it right because the guy that had my bike before me messed it up. The holes are not centered on the slider, and they are oblonged because the slider wouldnt fit in them.

Use thesearch buttonto find a good method..... you're gonna get slammed with people telling you to search before you post. Just a heads up.

I used the laser method on both my buddies RR and my 4i. We did his bike first and took about an hour or so due to setting up and being it was a first run I was being careful and double checking things.I thenI put them on my 4i in about25 min total. The lazer makes things SUPER EASY.....we used a 1 3/4 hole saw and you could not ask for a better fit, the sliders look like they are a part of the fairing with no gap, but they slide easy on and off.

Now if only people would start filling out more information when they register for this site, I could tell were about you lived and could offer for you to come over and I would do it for you for a small fee. Maybe something like $40 for both sides.....but i can't offer that because you and other people are lazy and won't fill that out.

Or I could come to you and do it for something like $60 plus the cost of gas.....but again I have no idea where you live.

i used the playdo method and it worked great. my vortex frame sliders fit perfect and have no gap. put the bolt in the hole then try to mount the faring as best as u can and drill the hole just take ur time and double check ur placment before u drill the hole u only have one try and use the 1 3/4" hole saw.
