last weekend i tried to raise the rear of my f4i according to bluedevil3758's how to on this forum:

After i took off the seats and tank i got a clear view of the shock bolt:

See the difference in threads.... i won't be able to fit the 4mm of washers in there like he did.

I'm wondering if this is just my bike or does every f4i look like that?
And if so, does anyone know the part number for a new bolt? Really dont want to go to a hardware store and just get "a" bolt, since it's a big part of the suspension and all....

Get the mount/bolt from an 06. Don't know when they switched to the longer stud but I know by 06 they had em.
