My bike came with aftermarket rear indicators and I am switching them back to oem. One of them are broken otherwise I would have left.

The aftermarket ones came with red and black wires. The oem ones have green and orange on the left hand side. Blue and brown on the left

I have wired up the left hand side and matched orange to orange and green to green. Nothing is working. I then reveresed and again nothing. Then I wired the old one back in red to orange and black to green. All is working fine.

Any suggestions as to what could be the issue?

 

Green is ground. Light Blue is RightRear turn signal and Orange is LeftRear turn signal. The Black/Brown wires are for the Tail Light / Brake Light.
