thanks man, i saw that one before.

so heres the update, im gonna ohm out my injectors here in a min, but i finnaly got my ecm reset, well sorta. its reset, but the light still stays on. when i try to check for codes the light just goes off, and then stays off untill i turn the key off. it will not blink, and when i try to reset it again, it just stays off. i dunno if this is good or bad. i rode it, and it runs a little bit leaner with the light off.

my next question is, would i hear a header leak? or feel it if i stuck my hand up there, i tryied that and didnt feel anything but its really hot. lol also all tubes from every cylinder gets hot. if i was missing on a cylinder would that tube still get hot? i just dont remeber if there was an exhaust gasket when i put my headers on the bike.

im gonna get this sooner or later. the way the lioght lights up is nothing like what the manual says, and that worries me

 

injectors check out, they r fine, no short in my mil light either. looks like its time for an ecm, anyone got one?

i need to be sure it works and isnt a bad one like mine. mine works fine. the bike runs fine just a lil rich not as much as it did when i started this thread, i finally got it to delete the stored codes. and the fi light is on.

if anyone wanted to trade.......

 

Van buddy, im telling ya i dont think its the ecm but since the bike runs, jump on it and ride out here. I got everything needed to find the problem and if it is the ecm ive got a spare we can deal on. you still got my cell # right?

 

yeah, ill get down there here towards the end of june and then this problems done.
