I'm devastated... Bike down :(
Sounds like the most potential damage will be from riding it home with no oil.

get us some pics. the bros on this forum will give good advice on fixing (well mostly good)
...and get some decent frame sliders, they might have saved your oil from something like this...

Dealers don't stock fairings for any bike, new or old. Everything is ordered. The chunk was probably the clutch cover if its leaking oil. Riding it home was as bad an idea as your buddy jumping on it but at least you didn't fry the motor.
Ok, the more I think about it..... your mad at your buddy for jumping on the bike yet you rode it home with broken chunks of metal, bolts and oil on the ground that you have no idea where they came from. How did you think this was a good idea vs pushing it only 1/4mile home????
So dealer said it is only cosmetic! so thats good! but it is still over $1300 !?!? I was like holy ****! they wanted to replace absolutely everything. even things that I look at and they look perfect?? so I am only going to be replacing the right fairing - almost $600, and my exhaust, Delkevic- so around $160 If i remember right.
the bolt was actually from the bottom of my footpeg (I felt very stupid) but in my defense the bolt looks exactly like the ones around the clutch cover.... they said it was leaking oil because of some kind of vent or something? I rode it home about an hr ago from the dealer (after an $80 estimate :/ ) and it ran just as perfect as always. I still cant believe how expensive a piece of plastic is.

I'd get a fairing piece from an aftermarker seller like motorcyclefairingsrus or cbrfairings.com. You could probably get the fairing and the exhaust both for less than $600 and the difference from OEM will be minimal.
That or file a claim against your buddy's insurance; it doesn't have to be personal (even though he was stupid); that's what homeowner's / bike insurance is for.

Oil leaked because of a vent of some kind? I have never seen or heard that happen, and I have both lowsided on multiple occasions, as well as watch stunters with F4is throw their bikes all over the place, and they never leak oil.
I hope they're right, and you just had a really weird circumstance, because I'd hate for you or them to think it's fine, and run it without any oil and junk it completely.

+1 to aftermarket fairings, for the cheapest OEM you can get a whole set at the same price. and then you have a track day fairing or something like that.
i've never heard of an oil vent, sounds crazy, but if its to protect the engine from hydrolocking then cool, but never heard of it.
bring this up to the guys parents unless he gives you money in the next few days.
its hard to say, i would want to stick it to the guy and get a complete bill of health from the dealership because thats your life on the line, but if he were my friend i guess i would go over it from brake disc to handlebar
