Question ignition resistor question??

ok i think i found out why my bike wont start. my ignition switch only has 2 red wires comeing from it. i have been doing some reading and see people talk about using 1k 1ohm resistor and a diode to do the toggle switch setup. my question is does anyone know a replacement to work just like the ones from the factory ignition switches?where i dont have to worry about putting a diode lol. i got a picture to show where the pink and blue wires go to.

well the oem ignition has a diode in line with the pink wire, if your bike is missing that then yeah the pump wont prime and wont start. If you flip your ignition over you should see two little posts that the ends of the diode get soldered on to. If the ecu is reading 12v on the pink wire or theres no signal at all then its not gonna work. Im not sure if theres a way to bypass this either. I had to replace my f4i ignition and the one i bought had a blown diode and when i was looking into it i never came across a way that got around having that diode. Its an anti theft thing so...
