Default I need your help.

Hey guys this is my first time to ask you all for help and boy do I need it ...
I was riding home from work wednesday night just cruising at about 75 mph when bam ... headlights just disappeared ...
Ohhh and did I mention this was on a dark highway ... [:@]
well anyways I have a lot of background in electronics and I can't find any shorts in the headlight circuit and the fuse is good as well are the bulbs ...
just can't find the headlight relay ...
anyone ever heard of this happening on an '01 F4i ?????
please give me some feedback.

No .... never had my headlight stop working.

But I did a mod so that both headlights would work all the time (high beam & low beam) & during my research of the wireing I dicovered the relay . THere are 2 relays back there, I believe one is for the headlights & the other is the turn signals.
