So I just installed an HRC race throttle on my bike. GET ONE!!!!!
It is by far one of the most noticeable performance modifications I've done to date. The bike is much faster on the pick-up, The throttle is heavier (harder to turn) so throttle control is actually easier (not harder like I expected). If you ride track days you have to get this mod.
On the downside the install is not for the non-mechanically inclined. Here is a link to a good step by step
