How To: Replace your Fuel Pressure Regulator
great write-up FLYOU, even better commentary (i like the comparision to the house blowing up)
noticed one thing wrong you may want to edit, you stated that the FPR is on the clutch side of the bike when its on the stator side of the bike. just trying to clear up any confusion.

and 3 months later I finally installed it. It took 30 minutes. I dont remember if the write up warned of the gas being under pressure and spraying when you take the old fpr off. That being said I had some gas shoot straight into my eye as soon as i broke both bolts loose. It burned a little bit lol. Anyways im off to go ride my new and improved f4i
Brilliant! changing the FPR fixed my bike. Now well-burned exhaust comes out the tailpipe rather than liquid gasoline (and I'm not kidding!
)
I was about to remove the airbox but then I started looking and decided that it was not needed. A small socket wrench reached the bottom bolt of the FPR fine. I spent more time getting the fairings bolted back. Why does that plastic have to take so much work?
Now to change the oil, it's about 25% gasoline now.

Ok so I am new to this Site and I had problem with my f4i I took it around the block about a month ago and it worked fine let it run in my garage a lil, put some fuel stabilizer in it for the winter and shut it off today I go out to just start it up for a lil bit and bike just cranks and gas smell from exhaust no liquid tho I read thru some fourms and some one said it's flooded I took out the tip sensor fuse and cranked It (no fuel pressure)with throttle wide open and got it to sputter and kick a few times I put the tip sensor fuse back in and the bike cranks,sputters and finaly starts I let it warm up and then went to give it a lil throttle and it dies out I came inside and found this guide on the Internet so I decided WTF I mind as well try it. I took the small vaccume line off the fpr(intake hose) no fuel comes out I think ok good I take the rest of the connections off and clean it with hot soap and water i can not get air to blow thru any which connection I try. Is this normal is there a way to test his regulator before I buy a new one? Should I be able to blow through either gas sides and shouldn't I be able to suck on the air side and get the diaprham to move please help me thanks guys
