Default how to remove stock turn signals

I just got flushmount turn signals for the front and i couldn't figure out how to remove the stock ones. Do i have to remove the front cowl to remove them or is there another way? Thanks

actually it takes a long time. Its worth doing but you will need to remove the front and side fairings so that way you can get to all the wires. It shouldnt take you that long but when i did it on my bike i remember it being a pain to do. but good luck to you

remove the front fairing and the intake covers. you should be able to get to everything without taking off the side fairings.

thanks for the help. I hooked them up just to see if they worked and they blink fast. I know this is normal but i have an integrated tail light with the resistors so i thought that since the rear had resistors i wouldn't need any for the front, is this normal? If so what type of resistors do i need to buy?
