Default Hotbodies Hugger Problem

I bought my bike with a hotbodies hugger already installed first off. Well I went out riding last friday and saturday and when I stopped friday to show the bike off I noticed 2 scratches on the hugger, one in each side. The scratches are from the rear peg mounts hitting the hugger when I hit bumps. I'm not really happy about it and am considering getting a different hugger that won't get all scratched up. Anyone else had this problem? I don't have any pics yet, but I can take some if you want me to. Is it that my suspension is set up to soft or is the hugger just 2 wide? I don't bottom the suspension out on the bike, but I'm a little bigger than the previous owner. Any help would be appreciated. BTW I found an ART carbon hugger on ebay yesturday for $36+$18 shipping with no brackets, but I forgot about it and it ended. Are those better than the hotbodies?

You probably need to tighten up that rear suspension. I havent seen anybody hitting a hugger when going over bumps. Thats just me though but thats all the advise I could give you.

Yeah, I agree. You should tighten up that rear suspension! I can't see how it would be dropping so low. Anyway, ask your local dealer or mechanic what they think about the setting for your size/weight.
