To get the light housings out of your undertail you need to remove the silicone around the plastic housing. Then the hard part is taking the lights out.

The lights were super glued in on my bike. I got a really small flat head and a razor and just pushed in-between the light and the housing. I did this around the entire light, until it got loose. It took a long time about 10 minutes each before I could pull them out. Don't press too hard or the housing will break.

If they do break you can buy them online somewhere. I forgot where, just don't break them.

Thanks I'm going to do this, I know how to make the LED light boards I just wasn't sure how to get the housing apart. Sorry about jackin your thread and thanks for the help again.
