Wasn't sure what forum to post this question in but since I've got an F4i...

I'm considering joining for the roadside assistance and the towing benefit if for nothing else.

Anybody have any experiences, pro or con?

Well I did have it, and the one time I had to use it for a tow I waited there in a shopping center for 5 1/2 hours and the towtruck never showed. I had called and she said it would be about 2 1/2 - 3 hours before he could get there, waited there in plain view, never once saw a towtruck. Called back after about 4 hours and she said he was there and waited and couldn't find me (which is total BS cuz I was right there in plain view, plus I could see all entrances and never saw a single tow truck come in). She said she'd send him back, waited for almost another 2 hours and still not a single towtruck to be seen. Needless to say, I ended up pushing my bike the 4 miles home... what fun.

No, I didn't renew it when it expired. I don't know if this was just a remote incident or a common thing, but that was my personal experience with it

i did like all the freebies they gave at the signup

 

I've never used it yet either. However, the $75 rebate on the MSF course pretty much pays for my first 2 years. We'll see.
