Yeah I get far more heat off the mid pipe than the can.

i tried it with mine and wife didnt like the slightly higher and wider position that it had.

So i just took 'em back off and left her at home

M4 makes a high mount as well. I have a carbon fiber one and it came with the spacers for the passenger peg. Never had a problem with the heat being close to the girl's foot.
I have the M4, but its just the aluminum can. It actually doesnt get that hot. My wife rides with me all the time and doesnt have a problem with it.

if its a carbon fiber high mount it doesnt makea different because it never gets hot
and yea u jus tneed some spacers and longer bolts

I have a micron high mount exhaust, and my chick friend has no problem riding pillion. The passenger peg on the right is about an inch lower and rearward compared to the left side, but it doesn't create/make a safety issue. Pictures avail upon request
