soooo, the exhaust I wanted looks like it's not going to happen therefore i am now shopping for an exhaust...i like the look of the high mounts but i am worried about passenger riding? my wife hops on the back occasionally and i am worried about cooking her having a high mount??

anyone have any opinions on passenger riding with high mounts?

also...on a side note...what do people think about the microns? (i really like the black to red fade on em)

 

I just put on a scorpion high mount cf. I couldn't be more happy. It looks and sounds great, keeps the rear footpegs, and the cf doesn't get hot enough to burn the passenger.

 

hmmm...i like the look of that....i really like the micro though for the color of the can....but that's nice too...

do you have a sound clip by chance, where did you get it from and how much?

 

I have the titanium Hindle highmount and it's kick ***. Passenger pegs are intact and heat is not a problem.

 

Unfortuanately I don't have a sound clip. If you want loud, this is NOT the exhaust for you. It is nice and deep at idle and low rpms. It's definitely louder than stock, but it won't wake up the neighborhood like the d and d and two bros I have heard. I got it from Starcycle, 400 shipped to my door. Great customer service and it was at my door 24 hours from the time I ordered it.

 

i have the silver fade micron high mount. i was able to keep the passenger foot pegs. the exhaust doesnt get nearly hot enough to make the passenger uncomfortable. great sound. micron is defintiely a good choice
