High mount install question...
I've never installed a new pipe before and am thinking of purchasing a high mount slip on. I hear people doing it themselves all the time, but i always thought that some jetting adjusting was involved when putting on a new pipe... I have an F4, it has carbs.
Also, is it technically not a slip-on since it will come with a mid-pipe?...

no slip ons usually come with mid-pipe...and to get even more technical...it should be a bolt on! hahaha...
it's very easy to intsall...you'll need to get rid of the old gasket at the end of the header if you can't get the midpipe to fit.
as far as jetting, since you're carb'd, you should, but you should be ok for the time being. you'll may get some popping and what not.
