I did a write up of how to wire in a relay so the low beam doesn't come on till the bike is running, it's in the How To forum. An ideal HID setup would also draw it's power straight from the battery, requiring another relay.

Just got my kit from DDM today. $95.00, slim ballasts (about the size of a RAZR phone), 6K, lifetime warranty. Now I need time to install them!

Take some photos of your work so we can see how it turns out. If you have any questions, post them up and I will answer them to the best of my ability. You will definately like them. Even during the daytime, you can be seen coming down the road for a long ways. I am in Nebraska and went riding, it was over 60 degrees out here.

The ones in my car only seem to make noise when they first come on and are warming up.

Hey everyone. After reading ALLL 10 pages of the thread, i plan on getting what everyone else seems to be getting. (the 6000k ballasts thing) Im really bad at tech stuff and this guy seemed to have a good deal. What do you guys think?

Both my headlights are working properly, wouldnt it kinda be a waste to get new lights? And how come you guys turn off your highbeams when theres cars? I just leave them on all the time. (don't bag on me... im new )
