Default Hi-beam inop along with indicator, main beam working ok?

Hi all,

Tried searching all over but can't seem to find the right answer.

Essentially my hi-beam is not working when I flick the switch. Headlight main beam works fine however when I flick to hi-beam the main beam stops working until I flick it back. I've replaced the bulb & the relay to no avail. I've stripped the switch down, checked all solder/wiring connections and they seem ok. Checked the starter switch soldering/wires & funnily enough in due course of me trying to figure it out the headlight solder snapped so I've fixed that but still no hi-beam!

Anyone had this before or can advise? I'm quite good with fixing things but this is frustrating and I'm not so savvy on wiring but this is my only thought..

Problem solved! Found 2 wires chaffed in the loom that runs behind the front nose cone in between the L/H headlight wiring routing, where the screw holds down the headlight to the nose cone.
