Default Help with Speedo

I have an 01 F4i. I bought the bike wrecked and am in the process of restoring it. I have a dilemma that hopefully someone can help me with. To make a long story short, when the bike was wrecked the whole upper fairing was demolished. It also snapped the speedometer off. The speddo still works but I can't bolt it back on because the tabs on the back of it are all borken off. Would anyone have any suggestions on how I could fix it, or at least attach it. I really don't want to buy another speedo because they are pricy and the milage would not be correct. Any input would be great.

Thanks.

The electronic circuit board is sandwiched in between two plastic case halves, so you can replace just the case half that you need, you don't need to replace the entire cluster. I had to do the same thing on mine after my wreck, it ripped the whole cluster clean off the stay, tabs and all. Bought a new case half for around $30-40, take the screws out of the back, put the new one on, and there ya go just like new!

Go to www.ronayers.com and look it up, they're not that much and you keep your original cluster electronics so it doesn't mess with your mileage or anything

I totally have threadjacked, but does X still play? I don't think he does...he did spend some time with my beloved Lakers, and was very good there. Good luck on the repairs!
