Recently I wrecked my bike and broke one of the clipon handel bars.
I purchased a new one and Ive removed all the stuff off the handle bar.
Im stuck getting the clipon part off. Ive removed the bolt that keeps it tight but for some reason i cant get it off.
help please.

 

did you remove the snap ring on top

what is that and how do i remove it?

 

if youre standing over youre bike look down and on top of where youre handlebar slides over the fork theres a little snap ring you should be able toslide it off with a flat head screwdriver

 

thanks man, that was the ticket. i cant believe that little ring kept it from coming off.
