Just get a 520 Conversion kit...they cost 129.99 shipped from thesumofallparts.com
You get the chain 520 and the -1/+2 Front and Rear Sprocket.

Heres the link:

If you want stock setup then goto:

and find the stock one

Hope it helps

If you want to remain stock, you need a 525 chain.

Hey man. Just wondering, will the -1/+2 be better for acceleration then, just going -1 in the front?

ron...yes it will be better acceleration, but you may not like it if you do any highway riding. just do -1 and see how you like (don't change anything else other than the front sprocket)...then if you like it, order the stock rear sprocket and chain...if you think you need more then order a +2 rear and chain. this is assuming you stick to 525 chain.

laitden...the chains aren't bike specific...even if it says it's for an F4i you'll still need to cut it to fit. they usually come in 120 links and you cut down to what you need. your bike does not have 50 links...it would have around 108 or 110 stock i believe. stick with the 525. forget cheap 520 conversion kits...you want good stuff, you'll need to step up and pay...

i get my schiznit from brian at www.sprocketcenter.com

tahoe or anyone else...with what you said that -1/+2 would be better acceleration, but not good for highway riding, can someone explain why not on that?

The bike would be running higher RPM on the highway. If you don't understand gearing don't mess with it. You need a 525 chain with 120 links. Too many people start messing with their bikes when they have no idea what they are doing. If your chain needs changing how about your sprockets. It is best to change both at the same time so they break in together properly. A sprocket with worn teeth can cause strange wear on the chain.

birdstrike hit it on the nose, but we all gotta start somewhere right?

you lose top speed...not 'top end' cause that's RPM talk.

you'll hit redline faster in every single gear. the speedo will be off by over 10%. -1 up front took me off by about 7%...so you're looking at maybe 10-12%. it's a percentage and not fixed miles off as it goes up with speed. you can fix with a speedohealer or jim a's yellow box.

not sure how much tope end you'll lose...maybe top out at 136 or so...(guesstimate)
