Hi

I am working on putting a bike back together that I bought smasked up.

Trying to figure out what used to be mounted in these two holes. My old upper gauge stay has two rubber grommets in these holes. There was a couple of broken off plastic tabs in it. Sort of like they were used to locate something.

Not sure if anyone can look up beneath where there gauges are mounted and tell me whats mounted in these holes?

I think this should help you. It's for aligning the Upper Cowl.

 

Yep. Those are the ones. They are broke off my headlight.

I have the pieces from a different headlight so I am going to try screwing, gluing them on.

Those two holes have suppose to have rubber groments in em, and your headlight will have mounts that will bolt into them.
