i love the stock underseat lock, takes about 5 seconds to pop your seat up and put your helmet on the loop and push seat back down. you put the soft bottom part on your fairing so i don't see how it would scratch it, as long as your not riding with it on there. also i'd like to see someone get my helmet off there without popping the seat or cutting the strap.
