well idk my brother checked my oil filter and said its pretty tight. I didnt stand the bike up totally straight to see the oil so i added more car oil before i knew this i am going to get it changed very soon aug 6 is my appointment but until then is it still safe to ride??

 

A tight oil filter doesn't mean it isn't leaking. Look for oil on the headers, it should be obvious. I get steam when it rains but not any other time.
