^ just checked out that f4i with the r6 projectors... its effin sweet! Its more or less exactly what I had in mind... I might have to look into getting r6 headlights and an extra f4i headlight to try it

*edit: I think Im going to put a high and a low beam in each side of the headlight though... I cant stand having people tell me I have a light out lol

I have hella HID's 8000k. I love them. i also have my bright facing down so i run both most of the time. when riding next to my buddies RR. I turn on my highbeam and it tripple's the light. even is he is allready running his siverstar highbeam. only downside i have to hid's, if you have to "flash" some one it's kinda hard. the HID's have suck a long warm up period it's kinda pointless to flash. I'm thinking baou doing a dual headlight conversion with HID's. Using the H4 HID bulbs that have the hallogen highbeam...Best of both worlds

Are there such things as an H4 HID bulb with a second halogen filament? I've never heard of such a thing or can even understand how that would work. HID is a gas filled bulb and halogen is a filament... I don't think they can exist in the same bulb housing. I'd be interested to see it though if you found a place that did it!

The price of HID's on eBay has gone gown significantly in the last few years due to all of the new sellers who provide them. I remember when they were 300-400 bucks for a set.....now you can get the same ones for $75. I have had HIDs on my car for three years now with no problems what so ever! I could never go back to regular headlights. As for the glare and brightness issues.....I want to be able to see at night....I have them aimed down a little so they are not in ppls eyes, but when it comes down to it....if you cant see the road at night you are putting yourself at risk of getting into an accident. I will take my safty over someone getting pissy about how bright my lights are any time of the day. And on the back roads at night with the high beam HID on is INCREDABLE!!! You can see EVERYTHING in your path. There is nothing better than the visabilty they project and the clarity of the light at night. And not to mention during the day they make YOU more visable to other cars on the road.

Hid's period.Ive ran silverstars, piaa and stock bulbs.NOTHING is close to hid's. Ive had mine on my bike for over a year with no issues and have been in 100+ miles of rain before.

As far as glare in non projector setups..After installing mine and aligning the lights.I have never had anyone flash me but still see great on the road.

I use the hid's blue fox uses on his cbr(write up in the HOW to section)..
