Default Handlebar risers?

Hi I have a 2001 F4i and am looking to make my bike a little more comfortable for long distance trips, I am 6'3'' so my legs get a little tight and wrists a little soar after an hour or so. I have been looking at the Woodcraft 1.5 inch bar risers and was wondering if anyone had any insight on them? Do they go on easy? Do you need any adjustments made for them to fit? If so is there any other bar risers that are better, do the 3/4 inch risers make enough of difference? I'll take all the advice I can get.
Thanks

If you are only looking for 3/4" rise, just remove the C-clips from the top of forklegs and raise the OEM clip-ons as much as possible.
To relieve wrist pressure, I just lean against my secure tank bag.

I installed Buell pegs that gives about 1" lower position than the OEM pegs, $23 for the set from local Harley dealer, part #N0006.1AD

DO NOT DO THIS! Those clips are there for a reason, There are other options like the woodcraft ones, there are heli-bars converti-bars and a few others as well. I have 2 1/2in risers from woodcraft and they work great, however I mounted my handle bars under the triple tree and my front end is not OEM. The woodcraft are easy to install and very strong. I'm sure there are a few that have more experience with the heli and converti-bars. You can also install Motocross like bars and the guys over in the street fighter section will know a bunch about that and how to do it.

If OP is looking for low cost way to change riding position, it is perfectly fine to try out the riding position before spending $100-400 to handlebar upgrade.

Besides, handlebar clip-ons are only meant to be used with human strength to steer the bike.. nothing more. Those C-rings are there in case someone forgets to torque the bolts that secures the clip-ons/fork legs.

I have over 100k miles riding experience with OEM clip-on bars raised 3/4" with C-ring removed from OEM fork legs, never a problem. Though it may not be a safe practice for most, but neither is motorcycling.

Thanks for the advice, I ordered 3/4 inch bar risers, and will order the Buell pegs from my Harley dealer tomorrow.

IMO, to try out riding position change of 3/4" rise in handlebar can easily be done by adjusting the OEM clip-ons... no need to spend for 3/4" risers until you're absolutely sure that's enough rise for you.
