hey all. i am new to the forum and i have a few questions. i recently bought a 2002 f4i. it seems to be a really nice bike. i choose this bike because of seat height and because i was told it was a more comfortable bike to ride than an rr.
my first question is about handle bar risers. because of my size i sit way up on the gas tank and i feel i am reaching for the bars. my arms and wrists cramp. have done some searching and found that risers may help. is this correct?
second question is about a lowering link. i have read some pros and cons on here but i only plan on lowering it 1". what brand of lowering link is the best and is there a company who makes an aftermarket kickstand that is -1"?
thanks

Some people recommend a different seat (or cutting out the foam on the seat) to get yourself lower, rather than messing with the bike like that. If you lower the back you should lower the front to match or you disturb the bikes turn in. Try adjusting your clipons before messing with risers.
