Yeah, its a great DIY!!

LOL I actually had it saved as a bookmark when I saw it... saving it for when I have time to try it out!!

My thanx go out to regen too, his instructions helped me as well. And if you look at the pix of his bike AFTER the wreck, you'll notice that the mesh holds up really well in an accident! Alright, I know it's not "funny" but he's OK and it's been a while so I hope it's not in bad taste to say that

 

Any suggestion on a flexable, heat resistant paint. I definately want to paint mine before I put it on the bike, but with needing to bend the material to fit the rr's ackward vents, and the high heat I just want to make sure the paint will last.
