GP exhaust on F4i

RE: GP exhaust on F4i
There is no spot for an o2 sensor. The whole pipe is only about 10-12 inches long and there is baffling from about 1inch in from each end, and exhaust packing wrapped around the baffling. The o2 sensor should be much farther up toward the exhaust manifold i would think.

idk to me it looks crapply made, looks liek it might corode but hey you get what you pay for. keep us updated in it. still prefer javiers due to the time he took to make and the knowledge that went into it, it doesnt look like the baffle is gonna do much but cant really tell so much from the pics, put it on ride with it and then check ur valves in at ur next oil change and then you can trully see if it was worth it

Yeah, I put it on last night and let it idle for a while. Doesnt sound to bad, I did put some more exhaust packing in it to try to quiet it down a bit. After riding with it for about half an hour it sounds great. Im sure it will get deeper but it sounds like a quieted down gp exhaust, it has a nice rumble to it, but picks up when you go wot. Im gonna get some pictures up in about half hour or so, and hopefully a video.

ok, well I gotta charge my camera up a bit first, cant get it to turn on. Im thinking that I might get some exhaust wrap and wrap up the ends where I bolted the slip on to the header, because it does look ugly how it is now. I also priced all the parts from the local autozone/oreily/advanced auto parts. I came up with 9.99 for the slip on exterior pipe itself, 12.99 for the baffle, 5.99 for the exhaust packing, and maybe 3-4 for the misc bolts and such. That comes to $32-33 total. The slip on that I bought came to me shipped for $26. Not bad for the half hour that it took me to put some more packing in and install. Ill definately get some pictures up today when my camera is charged.
