Got side swiped!!!
Yea, I was riding down the 4 lane road in town. I was in the turning lane going left and some guy in a big *** chevy just ran right along my left side. He tried passing me while i was in the turning lane. I was at a dead stop with my "Female Friend" on back and he more or less just pushed me over on my side with his truck, he was only going like 7MPH but still. The guy stepped out and tried saying he had the right of way, I was like " What the F*ck" "I was in the turning lane and you passed me *******". Then I proceeded to show him that my tipped over bike was still in the turning lane. I threw down my helmet (It was a crappy one, I would never throw down my new one) and I stood the bike back up expecting to see it all thrashed on the right side, but to my amazement I found nothing. (I will explain that in a bit) Anyways, he asked me why I didnt have my turn signal on and i told him I did, I turned the key and the blinker was still blinking. I was like, "Its still on!" The guy had a big *** creece-I dont know if thats spelled right, its 3:30 in the morning right now- down the side of his truck where my 12'o clock bar had hit. My 12'o clock bar is 16" long and Thats what stopped my bike from getting damage and the fact that it landed right on the handle bar so nothing touched the ground. The guy just gave me his number and told me he didnt want to deal with the police so I told he there was nothing wrong with my bike and I was fine with that. Anyways he left and I left and everything was all cool.

Glad you and your "lady friend" are ok. If my girl went through something like that she would have probably hit he guy in the face! (good girl). Quick question though.... I heard that the motor can be damaged if it runs too long while it is laying down. Lack of oil circulation or something like that. If it was running like that you may want to have it checked out.
The F4i has a tip sensor on it that shuts the engine off when it is tipped over to far or tipped back to far. As far as I know, I read it in the repair manual. The bike did shut its self off though so it wasnt running when it was on its side.
Thanks for the info though.

Its a good thing that you and your "lady friend" <------ (nice way of putting that too, LOL) are ok. I have to agree with joe on that one. I would have called the cops anyway. Just in case you find something wrong with the bike on a later date.

Instead of throwing your helmet at the ground, I would have spiked it at his face, then proceeded to beat the ever living crap out of him. Goddamned fu**ing people!! Some people don't realize there is nothing between you and the road or in theis case you and the truck next to you. We don't have a bunch of metal, seatbelts, and airbags to save our lives!! It just pisses me off to no end the carelessness of other drivers. Most every time I ride I have to dodge cars coming in my lane and whatnot. When I am driving my truck I always give motorcyclists the right of way and stay off their ***! I need a drink and a cigarette! [:@]
