good boot for the street
hey, whats a good boot for street riding? i dont need somethin like agp rider.. i want a boot that i can wear riding but looks normal if i wear it when i ride somewhere to actually get somewhere. protection and fuction is a plus.. any ideas?

Here's a link to the new ones, Icon super duty 2. They dont make mine anymore, super duty 1. Sucks cause I think the new ones are ugly. You can try e-bay, thats where I bought mine, new for $43.00.

I personally wear Joe Rocket Revolution boots. They are a proper touring boot, zipper+velcro closure. They're pretty plain looking, and if you wear your pants over them they just look like black shoes. I know this more of a boot than a sneaker, but the tradeoff is you get better all weather wear, better protection at the cost of maybe not looking like a regular hiking boot.

It seems they no longer make them and MAW has them on closeout for $69. Sizes seem to be going quickly though.

I have these Daytona Winners. They're pretty normal looking with pants pulled down over them and the toe sliders taken off, but with serious foot and ankle protection.
