I know aken posted some sweet night pics of his bike.... i was just curious what would be the difference from the lights he has and something like this?

Most of the glow I have on my bike is from strips just like that, only shorter lengths.

hey aken since you work at a led place i figured you would be the opp. person to ask..... but what kind of controller/how much will it run me will do the whole kit thing where the led's go from one side to the opposing... i was just curious because ide like to be able to either wire my tail lights that way.... and wire my whole bike so they come on and turn off from like front to back and back to front.....

That I'm not really sure of. I can't think of any controllers I've heard of where it will fade certain strips from one end to another. Only thing that I've seen do that is underbody kits for cars.

They make some controllers that do a nice fade from on to off, but never from one side to another. That'd be hard to do with separate single-channel lights (aka basic LED strips).
