Gauge Cluster and Tachometer + tailight problem
I was riding home recently, and the road being undecent, i went over a many bumps, and did not notice it till later, but on my gauge cluster was not on or working.
The Digital Speedometer is just blank screen, the tachometer gauge does not increase or indicate the rpm.
When starting the engine or turning the key to "on" position, the digital speedometer does not jump the numbers and decrease nor does it light up. etc..
The tailight ligh does not come on or power on .
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*I have the rear fender eliminator so i have the led rear undertail.
*When i do apply hand or foot brake it does come on like its supposed to
*On the guage cluster, the only thing that does work is the high beam indicator, and the signal indicator.......left or right
*Also the "time display" does show the time as normal
*A few months ago, i installed a digital datatool gear indicator which is also off.

Sounds like you knocked somethign loose id go around your bike and check all the connectors maybe one wasnt clipped all the way and came loose. Thats what it sounsd like with the speedo and tach
Check your fuses... I had a problem like this and the tail lamp and guage cluster are on the same fuse...I don't know what was causeing the fuses to go, but after about 4 of them it sorted its self out. I must have had a short somewhere.
Hey this might have already been answered somewhere but I dont see any specifics. I have the same problem with my bike (tail light and guage cluster out) and I was wondering... After replacing the fuse and the problem was solved, did your mileage come back up or did it reset back to 0??
