Default gas sensor

so i got her running. i added half a tank of premium. for some reason the gauges show the gas sign with the full four bars. i think this indicates that it should be near empty right? any clue to what could be wrong? im thinking something may be unplugged. what do you guys think?

Have you rode it? Mine takes a half mile before it cycles off, but it could be time based too I am not sure.

But it could be the sensor or something unplugged too. Just zero out the tripometer and ride the bitch for 100 miles, put more gas in itand enjoy.

It resets itself 90 seconds with the kickstand up, engine running of course. If you shut down the bike 89 seconds later it resets itself back to 90 seconds.
