Default gas cap problems

I got an 06 F4i, since I have had it the gas cap has never really fit properly. I have the stock one with the key. I would like to go with a keyless gas cap. Anyone know where to get a good one? Or anyone have one they are not using?

Thanks

mine never really cooperated with me i guess since the air is very salty and corrosive by me but it never posed too much of a problem. if you want to go with a keyless gas cap just hit up ebay if youre not looking to spend too much or hit up rizoma or vortex or something if you want to spend 100 something on a name brand. shouldnt be a big issue.

+1 on the ebay gas cap.

I got this one, then had to get some different screws at Home Depot because the OEM screws were a little too fat for the opening. But otherwise it works great; just gotta be a little careful putting it back on so you don't force it and strip a thread.

Would this be a common problem? I was thinking about getting a different gas cap because mine is always stubborn when opening and closing.

My problem is when I go to close the cap, there is always one side that doesn't seem to snap back all the way. The base is fine. Is there another cap that would fit the srock base?

on my 06 f4i the cap just didnt want to unlatch quite right. after having to call my brother 2 times to bring me a spare key because mine got bent in the gas cap i ended up breaking one off in the cap so you dont need to use the key to open it... someday i might go to an aftermarket one but until then this works fine.
