Default Fun winter day with parts and spray paint....

Well I am a fan of changing things on my bike that dont need to be just for the fun of having something to do on a boring cold day. So I took a trip to Lowes got a can of flat black spray paint and came home stripped off parts that were not flat black like the frame and just went at it. Anyone else ever find a cheap way to make the bike just a little diffrent? If so let me know I am always in the market to fill up the cold days by working on the bike or changing the look of it. Also the next project is to go pick up a 2x3 sheet of black swead and some nice memory foam and re-do the seats. Anyone done this yet???

I plan on spray painting my passenger pegs black..but I dunno how the paint would hold up.

I just put rim tape...took me only 10 minutes and I absoluitely love the way it looks.

Gloss holds up alot better then flat but you can always go with a semi-gloss or buy a can of gloss and do a very light quick spray over and it works great. And i have been wanting to do rim tape for some time now. Where can i pick some up?

POWDER COAT!!! dont spray paint anything that will take a beating...like pegs, rearsets, etc...im having my gas tank cap, rearsets, passenger pegs, etc. all the non-black stuff powdercoated with a texturized black just like the frame. It is so much stronger than paint and im getting everything done for around $60

Powdercoating really isn't that expensive. I had my passenger pegs done for $30, and that was a minimum charge. I'm sure I could have gotten more done for the same $30.
