Default Fuel Pressure Regulator - rubber grommet?

Just making sure... you're supposed to remove the rubber "grommet" on the FPR before you install it right?

I got the previous one off the bike and it still had the grommet in the hole covering the O-ring. I think this explains the non-running status of the bike...

Thanks guys! I went with no grommet, yes o-ring. (the o-ring was kind of a given..
Backyard - watched your video 4 times on youtube! Thanks for the great info. It was even easier than you made it look.

SO the next question is... do I keep the old regulator? After all... it appears to have NEVER BEEN USED! HAHAHA!

id toss it. Once is has been exposed to air and sitting without gas, there is too much crap that can get in it and cause harm to the rest of the fuel system
