I want to know how often is necessary to change the fuel filter that is into the tank with the pump.
My service manual says how to change it but not when!

By the way it is 50 dollars !

it's a PITA...and i changed mine out at 22K...usually they are ok unless you get some super crap fuel.

i would change it very 10-20K, depending on how bad the gas is around your area.

oh and also...maybe splice another one in somewhere that's easier to change!!

Yes , I think it is in a very difficult place to work, but what surprise me is how the owners or service manual doesn´t talk about miles/time changing ?

And in second place, are you the only that have changed it in this forum ?

i think i'm the only one to change it in every forum! hahahaha...

yea jorge i would just run another filter that's easier to get at and then change that one regularly. make sure the lines and connectors can stand the pressure though.

i'm probably gonna change mine next week just cause I gotta take the fuel pump out (again) to get a piece of safety wire that my crew chief (aka my dad lol) dropped into the tank
