Default Front sproket play?

So I am concerned. Can anyone give me any pointers? I recently did a 520 swap on my F4i. So I took the bolt for the front sprocket off(it came off pretty easy, compared to other bikes I've worked on) and then I put the new one on. When I tightened the bolt back down, there was some play in the sprocket left and right. Like, the bolt was tight, and I could move the sprocket left and right no the splines, like, half a millimeter. I was concerned, so I put the stock one back on, and it had the same play. Is that just normal? Anybody had this problem before?

Thanks

since we're already on the subject of front sprocket....what should that front sprocket be torqued down to?

A few quick google searches are showing 40 ft\lb.

hopefully someone can confirm this, I don't have access to my manual here at work.

Yeah, the Driven counter sprocket had a little play in it too. 40 ft./lbs. is correct torque.
