I recently purchased an 02 F4I I haven't picked it up yet but I want to locate some parts so when I get it I can fix it before the season begins. The owner before me had it under a bike cover and the wind blew it over and cracked the ferring just under the headlight. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a replacement at a decent price. Do I have to replace the whole upper ferring or is the part where it is cracked seperate?

it's all one piece, and if I were you I'd fix it it'll cost you way less than getting a good used one. I paid just over 200 for my used upper.

 

Fix it using for e.g. Plastic Weld from Permatex (available at NAPA auto parts etc)
