why don't you just spray her down when you get home from whatever it is that you do during the day?
it takes like10 minutes to wash off the dirt, etc...

spray the ****....then quickly scrub, then spray the **** again...then dry.

because by the time i get home from work[:@]i can't see chit. i just have time too stop at the car wash and rinse her if i'm gonna make my ride saturday morning. i'm not gonna use high pressure so its really no different than spraying the bike down at home. just gonna hit her with some spot free rinse. i'm just worried about rinsing off a warm bike?[&:]

 

yea...i'm worried for YOU about hitting the block, especially around the header/radiator area with water.

don't worry about not seeing chit...just get the muck off for now and do a crappy job wash until you have time for a good one!

allright, i'll hose her off in the dark then. is there any spray on/rinse off product that i can spray the entire bike down with that will get rid of most of the muck and not harm anything on the bike? just something to make her look respectable untill i can give her a good bath next friday. thanks

 

you will be fine...i rode my f4i through the hardest rain ever when socal was hit by the pineapple express.
as for spray to get off the muck...simple green usually does it for me...then again i've washed my bike 2x since i got it! hahahahah...

so i should be allright if i just hose it down, spray on some simple green (let sit for 5 minutes), then rinse good, wipe dry, and lube the chain. then i'm good to roll

 

i don't know about simple green and aluminum...
like i said when i used to wash my bike i just sud it up and then use pledge to wax it...LOL...

i'm not too much into the shine in case you can't tell.

i know that spraying the bike will be fine though. forget washing, just spray her down to get the dirt off!
