Default Frame slider comparison

what's the best out there? i've heard shogun is by far the best. is that true?

of the 3 has anyone tried any?

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Shogun-Frame-Slid...a#ht_799wt_911

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Extended-99-07-Ho...ht_2023wt_1137

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Carbon-Honda-CBR6...ht_1108wt_1137

although, i like the last one better; in terms of aesthetics.... is shogun a better choice for quality?

thanks,

I heard some bad things about Vortex frame sliders. I went with Pro-Tek.

they are good quality sliders. when ur bike drops and one of the puck break or crack alls u have to do is replace the one puck not the whole thing. and yes not me but my friend got in a accident going down the highway and took a slam going 50 and the slider deff helped out with less damage and held the force of the fall

Ive heard horror stories about frame sliders making the damage worse. Like it allows the tires to slid closer to the ground and potentially grab traction and flip the bike. Can anyone confirm this? I have a set of brand new T-rexx sliders but havent installed them yet. Wondering if they are worth it or not if I do drop the bike.

i'd go with vortex or woodcraft just because of how easy they are to replace. i personally have woodcraft and like them because they don't stick out too far. maybe an inch beyond the plastics.
