yes, but most people would recommend against it because of the high temp...you can ceramic coat it (which has a MUCH higher temp rating), but you aren't going to have the same availability of finishes or color with ceramic....

for example on my bike, the midpipe and the muffler cap are ceramic coated gloss black...the actually can is made of carbon fiber, but the metal pieces fitted to it and the midpipe are ceramic coated...

 

I'm really loving the idea of blacking everything out... If i got my rearset and exhaust all black i think i'd pitch a tent
