I haven't even ridden mine in almost a week while I'm waiting for my tire to show up, there's a huge4Dnail in my rear tire. I'm not even going to chanceriding a patched tire, call me a ***** if you want, but I ain't gonna be in traction because my tire shredded at 80.

Anyone who would ever call you a '*****' for not taking a chance like that deserves to have there tire blow while riding with a patched tire!! Its def a choice that the rider must make....too me you are making a very smart one!

you may have nicked a cord in the carcass, don't risk it. We have had too many crashes on this board recently.

I came home not too long ago with what ended up being a screw in my tire. Not only did I buy the new rear, but I got a new front because I wanted PP's and didn't want to have a mismatched set. Get a new tire...easy decision, my friend! That does suck, though!!!

That is exactlywhat i'm going to do. I need a new front as well and was also thinking of trying the PP's

My rear tire is gonna get ROASTED. I burned a bit off last night and have a nice rubber rooster tail all over my under tail. Might as well make the best of it!

GET NEW TIRES!!!

DO NOT RIDE ON IT.

If you can't take the wheels in to fix say on a trailer buy this plug kit. I did and it works like a BOMB EVERYONE should have one of these it is great.

I talked to another bike tech and he said it he wouldn't worry about it.
He said if the tire had been punctured I'd be able to tell (leak or deformed) so it sounds like there isn't a problem with it.

That said, i'm still gonna get a new tire
