Personally, I think it's a dangerous game you're playing trying to lowball the seller by $500 plus dollars when his asking price is reasonable and you don't even have the money.
This isn't a time to be cheap when good bikes that are hard to find for reasonable prices show up.
If he's a smart seller he'll take the first person with cash and not wait around for someone that has to apply for a loan that can be denied and who didn't leave a good faith down payment to hold the bike.
If you get turned down then find out what loan you can get instead of shopping/getting yourself all pumped up and excited for bikes you can't afford and wasting other peoples time.

ehh may be true, but he said he was in no hurry to sell it since the money from the bike would go towards a pool table and tv. and i dont think throwing out an offer 500bux cheaper is low balling that much. but its whatever. i sent him an email earlier telling him that i want the bike and will give him 4400 friday after we both get off work, so hopefully ill hear something tomorrow from him
Any new news? I feel like im reading a novel, know myself how the waiting game is since i just finished playing it. I got my 2000 CBR-600F4 Org/Bk for $3500 so i think you have a reasonable price. Mine has higher mileage (20k) which is why it was cheaper
For Insurance I was able to get progressive for $300 a year w/o comphrensive, which i thought is pretty great for a 19 year old
