Default flywheel help needed

hey guys my brother just bought a theft recovery f4i. the d-bag who stole it wrecked it on the stator side. in the process he busted the cover to **** and the flywheel (#2 on this page) ended up getting a little abrasion on the outside edge. but upon further inspection i noticed that it is slightly bent on the inside (where the stator fits into). the damage isn't to severe.....

now my first assumption is to replace it, but i want to know if its mandatory to replace. brand new from ron ayers is $210, so if its not needed i'd prefer not to buy a new one. so what do you think we should do?

thanks for the help

if it is bent at all it absolutely needs to be replaced, the higher rotates at such high rpm and bent flywheel can produce extreme oscillations and destroy the motor
