Flashing PGM-FI malfunction indicaror lamp
Hi
My2002 CBR 600 F4i has developed an odd error , the PGM-FI malfunction indicaror lamp has started to flash ever 4 seconds even if the bikes not running, the bike starts and seem to run fine.
I've not check it out on the road yet to see how it goes under load as I'm part way through a rebuild on the bike as suchit's not road legal, the only work I've done on the fuel system was to take offthe tankto change thespark-plugs and airfilter but that's all.
Any ideas as what this error code means before I have to take back to big daddy honda fo a checkup and lighten my pocket.
Thanks in advance.
Dave

Well if its on with the bike not running but im guessing it works with the key on. Its an electrical issue, either you forgot something unplugged or not plugged in all the way or a broken wire.
You have to count the flashes and see what it means, this is just an educated guess

Did you hook the Air flow sensor back up? That is the wire that is connected to the air flow box

just lift the tank up(dont have to take it all the way off) and look if its hooked up..if it is, dust it out with some air and see what ya got.
