I bought an H7 Sylvania Silverstar headlamp to upgrade the stock headlamp, but it doesn't fit! Read at least a few posts that said it did.

Anyone know what the correct headlamp size/type is for my 2005 F4i?

It'll fit... look at your old bulbs you took out and you'll see a black connector on the end of each bulb. The headlight harness and the H7 bulb itself have different plugs, and Honda has their own comtraption that goes in between. Unplug those black connectors from your old bulbs and put them on the new one, and the plug harness plug will fit and the lockdown clip will now fit right too

Thanks for your help everyone, especially thirdgenlxi. I have the new Sylvania Silverstars H7s in my car ready to return, but you guys cleared it up for me. Will be installing them now. This will be the 3rd time I've opened up the bike to access the headlights, so 3rd times the charm!
