Can you be patient until after riding season? Off-season is when you'll find the best deals.

HEYY BROCHACHO!! Im here in AZ as well (mesa) and as you know man the f4i is rare in the wild wild west... i got lucky and found someone selling a 2001 silver and black 17k miles 3200 bucks with a power commander double bubble intergrated tail and new tires and chain.. oh yeah and T-rex sliders. I put an ad on craigslist ssaying that i want an f4i. It was dropped from the stand lubing the chain but its only tail fairing and stator cover scratched.. Ii will be picking her up on May 14. and yes very true the f4i is lighter than the buell i just sold and it is a rocket so be easy. Ive been riding for over 15 on dirt and almost 10 on the streets and i cant wait to get the f4i because i have skill out the buns and im ready for a bike thats a perfect match for me. p.s. if you want to ride with me and my buddies let me know!!! no matter what side of town i have friends to ride with., and the frequent rides of South mountains Twisties... all the way to the red lights.!

Found another one located in California, he is the 2nd owner and it has 4,500 miles on it but he is asking $4,800! it states it is the 49 state legal version of the F4i? What does that mean? Anyway, he just moved to California and does not have time for the bike so has not registered it in California yet. It would be fairly easy for me to drive over and either trailor or ride it back to Arizona and register it here with $0 sales tax. It has an Oklahoma title as that is where he moved from. Bike has the following mods.
PC3
M4 Carbon Fiber slip on
frame sliders
clear lens on the turn signals
zero gravity smoked windscreen
recently tuned up with new spark plugs and oil/filter (always used Mobil MX4T oil). the air filter is original but upon last check it is still clean! I also changed the fuel pressure regulator at the last tune up. It has the Honda tool kit under rear seat and honda owners manual. Tires have plenty of tread on them left.
Like I said it has very low miles and seems mint condition but $4,800 is very steep asking price. Do you think it is more like $4,000 max? Thanks guys

You're right. More like a $4k bike.

Worked at a car dealership in Nebraska one summer. We sold TONS of cabin air filters because mice just loved to make nests out of them.
