First bike: 600rr or f4i
I'm looking for the differences in the f4i compared to the 600rr. It's going to be my first bike. I've been told two things: starting on a 600 can kill you, and the other one is that you'll be fine if your smart. I like the style of the 600rr better than the f4i, but would the f4i make a better first bike? Is the riding style less agressive? Thanks for any suggestions.
if you take the motorcycle class, you'll be fine on a 600 f*&k the rumors.
i have the f4i, but i'm a mod-queen and i think i would have been happier w/ the RR. Yet i'm not dissapointed in any way in the F4i. Honestly i'd get that bike you fall in love with when you first see it.

I actually sort of agree. If you aren't retarded and have driven a stick car. Theres not really a problem. People say stuff like "the throttle is to touchy" "the brakes are to good" I haven't had a problem with that at all. Unless you are completely un-****in-coordinated, i dont see how those could be a problem.
So far I've put just over 600 miles on my f4i (first bike) and haven't had any problems - you just need some self control and some hand-eye coordination. I would recomend the f4i for its comfort level though - I can't imagine going more than a half hour on the RR w/out an aching back
